Naomi Waxman is a 2018 graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where she specialized in social justice and investigative reporting.
Her special report, "Teetering on the brink: Barriers to reproductive health care access," won the bronze prize for best online hard news feature from the Milwaukee Press Club.
The Wisconsin Policy Forum selected Waxman for the 2016-17 Public Policy Reporting Fellowship with the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service. She also completed a year of service as a 2011-12 New York corps member with AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps, and worked as a paralegal in the family law unit with the New York Legal Assistance Group. She is an undergraduate alumna of Lawrence University and earned her Master of Arts degree at Marquette University’s Diederich College of Communication.
